The Beehive Chair

As the winner of the inaugural 2011 Formica Formations competition, the “Beehive Chair” interpreted through the analogy of sculpture as frozen music. This chair was made from Lakepine Zero low emitting MDF and beeswax polish to the edges. This chair also uses “Warm White Formica” high pressure laminate to the vertical faces.
